GETTING STARTED
In order for us to start your accounting, we will need the following items:
1) An executed copy of the Fazzio Fiduciary Accounting LLC retainer agreement accompanied by a check in the amount of $500.
2) Please advise what period the accounting covers. If you aren’t sure, ask your attorney.
3) Please UPLOAD / EMAIL or FAX copies (PDF format only) of:
a) All inventories or the previous accounting (if applicable).
b) Statements for all bank and brokerage accounts for the entire accounting period (please include statements for accounts that were closed during your tenure).
4) A detailed record of all deposits and disbursements must accompany the statements. The record must include DATE, SOURCE/PAYEE, and PURPOSE. If a deposit or disbursement is associated with a certain asset (particular property, vehicle, etc.), please include this info in your register.
OUR PROCESS:
- Obtain all materials (inventories or previous accounting, bank / brokerage statements, check registers, etc.).
- Data entry — Input and organize all transactions into chronological & categorical summary.
- Present client or attorney with any questions and requests for items needed.
- Finalize schedules and verify equalization of Charges vs. Credits.
- Reconcile register and statement balances.
- Final edits.
- Presentation of completed Fiduciary Accounting.
